• Unicef's motto is For every child Health, Education, Equality, Protection, Advance Humanity. This organization strives to aid many different causes, such as girls' education, immunization, child protection, HIV/AIDs, sanitation, hunger, and more.
  
• I've browsed through Unicef's website, and have found that most of what you can do to help out actually requires money for donations and etc. Those that cost money include donations and buying items. One is Friends Asking Friends™ in which you can email your friends and family to make secure, online donations. In addition, different options of donating can be found here.
• Unicef also offers non-costing money support that people like me and you can do. For US citizens, we can contact our elected officials by sending already-drafted letters to them. Go to this and choose the cause you'd like to help out. Click "Take Action Now" and fill out your personal information. You can either print out the letter to send personally (but then this would require stamp money), or use e-mail to send.
